Kids Fun Run

A non-timed fun run of 500m or 1km for ages 4-14.

Get your little triathletes ready!

We’re thrilled to announce the very first RDJ Dublin City Triathlon Kids Fun Run! This is an exciting opportunity for youngsters aged 4 to 14 to experience the thrill of race day and take their first steps towards becoming a future triathlon star.

Distances for all ages

We have two distances to cater to different age groups: 500m for 4-8 years olds and 1km for 8-14 year olds. Every participant gets the chance to finish on the coveted blue carpet and take home a famous DCT finisher medal! (And an ice cream, of course)

Focus on fun

This is a non-timed event, all about letting kids enjoy the excitement of participating in a race. The Kids Fun Run takes place before the adult event, allowing them to soak in the race day atmosphere and cheer on the grown-up triathletes.

Dublin City Sports & Wellbeing Partnership

We are excited to be partnering with Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership in running this event. Introducing children to sport is one of their fundamental goals and we are delighted to hosting the event with their support.

The Kids Fun Run is free to enter, but online registration is required before the event to secure your child’s spot.
